Declaration 12 addresses parish tithing as a replacement for the Annual Catholic Services Appeal and physically taking up second collections. The Mass Closing the Diocesan Synod will take place at our Cathedral on Sunday, November 26, at 2:00 PM, the Solemnity of Christ the King. Whether or not you will be able to be present in person, I hope that you will join in praying that this historic and significant occasion in the life of our diocese will bear an abundance of spiritual benefits.
